Birth + Postpartum Doula Support

Birth and postpartum are one journey. Whether you are preparing for an unmedicated birth, IVF pregnancy, planned C-section, or early postpartum recovery, support before birth can shape how informed, grounded, and confident you feel throughout the experience.

Together, we explore what may happen before, during, and after birth, what questions to ask your providers, how to communicate your preferences, and how to advocate for yourself within the medical system.

Support is available in person for families in Philadelphia + South Jersey, and virtually for families seeking birth preparation, C-section planning, IVF pregnancy support, or postpartum recovery guidance.

How We Can Work Together

Cesarean Recovery Support & Belly Binding

After a Cesarean birth, many mothers are looking for ways to feel more supported, comfortable, and connected to their recovering body. Belly binding has been used across cultures for generations to provide gentle containment and support during the postpartum period.

The KB5 Knotted Belly Bind™ was designed to support the postpartum body through adaptable compression, containment, and comfort.

Inspired by the unique needs of C-section birth, it provides targeted, adaptive compression with gentle, adjustable support above and below the incision area, helping the body feel held, supported, and more stable throughout the postpartum period.

The phrase I hear most often from mothers:

“Like a hug I didn’t know I needed.”

The KB5™ is included in every Mama B recovery package because recovery support should not begin only after something feels wrong. Thoughtful support, preparation, and comfort can help mothers feel more confident as they move through the early postpartum weeks.

  • For me, being a doula is all about continuity of care—walking with families from pregnancy through birth and into the postpartum period.      I specialize in 4th trimester  in-home care and postpartum cooking—nourishing meals, newborn care guidance, and emotional support for your whole family. I do not offer overnight care, because I believe the most sustainable path into parenthood comes from building a strong daytime foundation, rhythms that support nighttime rest, and a built-in community you can lean on.

My approach centers on preparing families to thrive in the 4th trimester—a sacred and transformative time that sets the tone for parenting and family life ahead.
